This is a 6 Module online course targeted towards helping adult children prepare to care for their aging parents or loved ones. In this course I take participants step by step through all aspects of aging and navigating the care continuum including: 

Module 1: Preparing for the next stage of life; including key conversations and decisions to be made, your role in supporting, not controlling, expectations for the future, and more

Module 2: Living Arrangements; what options are available from skilled facilities, to community living, to aging and place, and everything in between, how much will it cost, and who pays for each option, how to find resources to help, and so much more…

Module 3: Estate Planning; important legal documents, guardianship, conservatorship, wills, how to find an attorney to help, pitfalls to avoid, etc. 

Module 4: Financial  Planning;  Estimating the cost of care, long term care insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, VA Benefits, etc., working with a fiduciary, protecting assets, paying bills, organizing passwords, and more. 

Module 5: Health Care; Partnering with your Primary Care Physician, Nagiating inpatient care, home health, home care, hospice, HIPAA, med management, rehab and more.

Module 6: Finding resources and support; building a Care Team, engaging siblings, professionals that can help, vetting providers, technology and tools, etc.

Step-by-step instructions on how to use the acquired knowledge to create a community program partnering with other industry experts, leveraging these new relationships, and  positioning the agency as an authority in aging. As part of this guide you will receive a collection of customizable templates for flyers, social media posts, press releases, and emails to efficiently organize and promote your event and replicate it many times over!

The program begins February 5, 2024 and is open for enrollment from now until February 2nd or when all seats are reserved. Remember this is a beta launch therefore, we are only taking a limited number of participants for this round.
